SOFTWARE INSTAllATION
After you have installed the PCturbo 286e in
the computer, turn on the system and install
the Orchid Productivity Software.
The Installation Program (INST ALL.EXE) will
help you modify your boot disk for use with
PCturbo 286e.
It
will add lines to your
AUTOEXEC.BAT file and create the
HOSTEXEC.BAT, TURBEXEC.BAT, and
TURBO.SYS files. The program will also copy
the Productivity Software (RAM Disks and Disk
Caching) onto your boot disk, This will allow
the Productivity Software to be loaded
automatically when you turn on the power or
reboot your system.
For Safety
For greatest peace of mind, make a copy of
your boot disk and put the original away for
saf ekeeping.
If you boot from floppy:

Use DOS DISKCOPY to create an identical
copy of the 'boot diskette.
