Selecting a Host Interrnpt Line for the
PCturbo 286e
The PC turbo 286e uses one of the host's
interrupt lines for sending interrupts to
the host. It can use either IRQ2, IRQ3, IRQ5,
or IRQ7.
a
The interrupt line chosen for the Turbo
cannot be used by other peripherals in
the host syst(m.
The factory-set default is IRQ7.
(IRQ7 is assigned to the parallel port but is
not normally used for this purpose. You can
disable IRQ7 on the parallel port without
affecting its operation.)
If another peripheral requires IRQ7, you must
select a different interrupt for the
PCtur bo 286e.
The interrupt is selected by the row of
jumpers labeled IRQ. Each jumper is labeled
with numbers corresponding to an interrupt,
IRQ2, IRQ3, IRQ5, and IRQ7.
