Power supply

Supply the CT Analyzer test set only from a power outlet that is equipped with protective ground (PE).
Instead of supplying CT Analyzer from phase-neutral, it may also be supplied from phase-phase.
However, the voltage must not exceed 240V AC.

Orderly measures

The CT Analyzer User Manual or alternatively the e-book has always to be available on the site where
CT Analyzer is being used.
The users of CT Analyzer must read this manual before operating the device and observe the safety
instructions and all relevant instructions for connection and operation.
The CT Analyzer test set and its accessories may only be used in accordance with the user
documentation (including but not limited to user manuals, reference manuals, getting started manuals
and manufacturer manuals). The manufacturer and the distributor are not liable for damage resulting
from improper usage.
Opening the CT Analyzer device or its accessories without authorization invalidates all warranty claims.
Any kind of maintenance, calibration or repair on the device itself may only be carried out by persons
authorized by OMICRON.

If the equipment is used in a manner not described in the user documentation, the protection provided
by the equipment may be impaired. The manufacturer and the distributor are not liable if the safety
instructions given in this manual or any of the relevant international, national, company-internal or local
safety standards and rules are not observed.

Compliance statements

Declaration of conformity (EU)
The equipment adheres to the guidelines of the council of the European Community for meeting the
requirements of the member states regarding the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) directive, the low
voltage directive (LVD) and the RoHS directive.
FCC compliance (USA)
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant
to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This equipment generates,
uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this
equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be
required to correct the interference at his own expense.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the
user's authority to operate the equipment.
