Parameter
Description
Delta
Correction factor for the ratio measurement. This factor enables the ratio measurement for
compensation
CTs that are installed inside a delta winding transformer.
Possible values: Soft keys Ratio 1, Ratio 2/3 or Ratio 1/3.
Default: Ratio 1.
Choose "Ratio 1" if no correction is required.
Choose "Ratio 2/3" if input PRIM is connected to the two terminals of that transformer
winding, the CT is in series with.
Choose "Ratio 1/3" if input PRIM is connected to the terminals of a transformer winding,
the CT is not in series with.
LV CT Test
Use this parameter to change the measuring mode for testing very small CTs with very low
Mode
knee point voltages.
"Toggle Mode": Normal measuring mode of CT Analyzer. Applies test signals of different
magnitudes and frequencies to the current transformer in order to measure the excitation
characteristic.
"Sinus Mode": Applies sinusoidal test signals with rated frequency to the CT in order to
measure the excitation characteristics. The Sinus measuring mode may be indicated for
testing very small CTs with very low knee point voltages.
Possible values: Soft key Toggle Mode or Sinus Mode.
Default: As defined in the default test settings (Main menu -> Settings -> Misc. Settings).
1. If the question mark is entered for this parameter and a new test is started, CT Analyzer automatically tries to determine the
value using its integrated guesser function (see chapter 9 on page 138).
