Description
"Enable rated burdens < 1VA":
Enable or disable the use of nominal burdens smaller than 1VA. If
enabled, it is possible to select a nominal burden smaller than 1VA in the
CT-Object card ("VA" parameter) of the Advanced CT Test mode. If
disabled, the nominal burden is automatically set to 1VA if you try to enter
a smaller burden value.
"Min. VA at M cores Isn 5A":
Applies to IEC 60044-1 metering CTs with I
Here you can set the minimum VA value used for the CT assessment to
3.75VA. This means, selecting the 3.75VA soft key will cause
CT Analyzer to assess the CT only up to a lower nominal burden limit of
3.75VA instead of 1VA. When 3.75VA is active, it is not possible to enter
VA values lower than 3.75VA in the CT-Object card of the
Advanced CT Test mode.
Selecting 0VA deactivates this option. Assessment is then performed up
to a lower burden value of 1VA. This is the factory default which is suitable
for most cases. You should not change it without important reason.
If your CT Analyzer is equipped with a USB interface and a RS232
interface, use this option to display the Select remote interface port
page. On this page you can select the interface used to connect
CT Analyzer to a PC: USB or RS232.
If equipped with both interfaces, CT Analyzer will only communicate via
the selected interface. It will not be recognized by the computer if
CT Analyzer settings do not match the interface used for connection.
Use the Miscellaneous Settings page to
► enable or disable automatic test assessment if a parameter marked with
a star "*" in the CT-Object card was not entered by the user prior to the
test. Parameters marked with a star are mandatory parameters that are
required for assessment (and possibly for the calculation of further
parameters).
► enable or disable continuous burden measurement.
► define the default value of the class multiplication factor.
► select the default measuring mode used by CT Analyzer (Toggle mode
or Sinus mode; Sinus mode may be indicated for testing very small CTs
with very low knee point voltages).
► define the thresholds for the decision algorithms of the guesser function
(1 A/5 A, P/M decision).
These settings are only relevant for the Advanced CT Test mode. Please
refer to section 6.8.3 on page 71 for more information.
