Note: Automatic assessment is only performed for the CT behavior at nominal burden. For the CT
behavior at operating burden, no automatic assessment is performed.
Customizing the automatic assessment
The automatic assessment uses predefined assessment rules based on the class definitions stated in
the IEC and IEEE standards by default. CT Analyzer offers the possibility to use customized assessment
rules defined in CT Analyzer Suite instead of the predefined assessment rules. See the
CT Analyzer Suite help for information on how to create customized assessment rule sets. See the
Setting Menu option Select Customized Assessment on page 68 for information on how to select and
apply customized assessment rules in CT Analyzer.
8.8.1

Assessment details

It is also possible to display details regarding the automatic assessment for a parameter in the
Assessment card:
► Select the Auto assessment of a parameter using the cursor keys and then press the
display general assessment information for this parameter.
► Or select the Auto assessment of a parameter using the cursor keys and press the Details soft key
to display details regarding the assessment for this parameter. The details view of the Assessment
card depends on the standard and the specific parameter selected. It displays for example the
measured value determined by CT Analyzer, the rated value to be met for an "OK" assessment and,
if applicable, the reason for a "Failed" or "n/a" assessment of the parameter.
