4. If you enabled the Primary Winding Resistance test card in section 5.2.2, step 2. on page 55, a
message is displayed, asking you to change the wiring for the primary winding resistance
measurement. Connect the primary winding of the CT as described in chapter 3.
► Make sure that the red LED on CT Analyzer is off.
► Refer to section 3.4.3 on page 30 for detailed information on how to connect CT Analyzer for the
primary resistance measurement.
► You can display the connection diagram by pressing the
message is displayed.

5. Press the Start Test soft key to execute the automatic primary winding resistance measurement.
Note: If you do not want to perform the primary winding resistance measurement, press Skip Test
to skip the primary winding resistance measurement and continue with the CT test or Cancel Test
to abort the complete test.
WARNING
Death or severe injury caused by high voltage or current possible
The primary winding resistance measurement is performed with DC current.
► Do not open the measurement circuit while current is flowing.
► Stop the measurement by pressing the
LED is off before opening the measurement circuit.
6. A message is displayed asking you to change the wiring for the Advanced CT test. Connect the CT
to CT Analyzer as described in chapter 3.
► Make sure that the red LED on CT Analyzer is off.
► Refer to section 3.4.1 on page 27 for detailed information on how to connect CT Analyzer for the
CT test.
► Be sure that the polarity of all wires is correct.
► You can display the connection diagram by pressing the
message is displayed.
Note: If you do not want to execute the CT test, press the Skip Test soft key instead of changing
the wiring. This will skip the CT test and immediately perform the demagnetization cycle to finish the
test.
