Care and cleaning
CT SB2 does not require any special maintenance or care. Clean the device from time to time or as
necessary using a cloth dampened with water or isopropanol alcohol. Always disconnect CT SB2 prior
to cleaning!
11.2
Replacing fuses
1. Turn off CT SB2 and unplug the power cord.
2. Ground the test object, and disconnect it from CT SB2. By disconnecting it you prevent a possibly
faulty test object from feeding power back into CT SB2.
3. Disconnect CT SB2 from CT Analyzer and, if applicable, from the computer.
4. Locate the blown fuse on the side panel of CT SB2 and replace it by an identical fuse type:
T2.0A H 250V (2.0 Amps slow-acting high breaking capacity wire fuse 5 x 20mm). CT SB2 has two
fuses of the same type. Proceed as follows:
► Use a small screwdriver to unlock the two locking tongues one after the other as shown in
Figure 11-1.
► Pull out the fuse holder and locate the blown fuse.
► Replace the blown fuse by an identical fuse type.
► Insert the fuse holder and press it into the base until the two locking tongues engage audibly.
