Use the following wiring for the polarity check (example):

Note: CT Analyzer measures the voltage of the injected signal using input SEC. Therefore, you should
always connect this input when using the Polarity Check measurement type. The higher the resistance
of the wiring checked (i.e., the burden wiring) or the current amplitude set on CT Analyzer, the higher the
terminal voltage generated by this current!
Proceed as follows to perform a polarity check
1. Make sure that the wiring to be checked is disconnected from the ungrounded side of the CT (see
Figure 10-8).
2. Connect the OUTPUT sockets and input SEC of CT Analyzer to the wiring to be checked (see Figure
10-8).
3. Open the Quick Test measurement function of CT Analyzer.
4. Select the Polarity Check measurement type and set the amplitude of the polarity check signal
appropriately.
