P(f) Active power response to underfrequency
Some grid codes also require P(f) active power response to underfrequency. As PV plants typically operate at maximum
power point there is no available power reserve to increase power in case of underfrequency.
However, in case of curtailment of the Plant due to market control, active power increase up to the available power is
possible. As the inverter is not able to distinguish P constant set values between mandatory congestion management of
the grid operator and market control this needs to be implemented in the site specific plant control infrastructure.

F Activate dynamic gradient.
Dynamic gradient maximum frequency:
If dynamic gradient mode is activated, the gradient is calculated in order
to guarantee a linear power adjustment and reach the maximum charg-
ing power if the frequency rises to the maximum configured frequency.
Dynamic gradient minimum frequency:
If dynamic gradient mode is activated, the gradient is calculated in order
0.01
to guarantee a linear power adjustment and reach the maximum feed-in
power if the frequency drops to the minimum configured frequency.
Activation threshold (f1) underfrequency:
Determines the frequency threshold for activating the function in case
40
of underfrequency incidents. The active power adjustment is activated if
0.01
the frequency falls below the configured value and mode 1 or 2 is acti-
vated.
In mode 2, the function is deactivated if the frequency rises above the
configured value.
0.01
Activation threshold (f1) overfrequency:
Determines the frequency threshold for activating the function in case
of overfrequency incidents. The active power adjustment is activated if
the frequency rises above the configured value and mode 1 or 2 is acti-
vated.
In mode 2, the function is deactivated if the frequency falls below the
configured value.
