Explanation
) This requirement is country-dependent.
The response can be configured. Norma-
tive requirements.
No indication on display (behaves in the
same way as normal feed-in mode status
4, therefore no flashing "Feed-in" LED).
Can be viewed in service log files and via
proLOG/portal.
When certain country settings are acti-
vated, the frequency-dependent power
change is activated.
missible value for the feed-in current per
phase has been reached.
Failure in the interior fan or the corre-
sponding tacho signal. The power is re-
duced to 50% Pnom. All 3 LEDs light up
on the device.
Failure in the 1st external fan or the cor-
responding tacho signal. The power is not
reduced. This is done by way of tempera-
ture curtailment. All 3 LEDs light up on
the device.
Failure in the 2nd external fan or the cor-
responding tacho signal. The power is not
reduced. This is done by way of tempera-
ture curtailment. All 3 LEDs light up on
the device.
Standalone mode was detected.
Self-test sequence is documented in S8.
A static residual current causes the device
to shut down. The shutdown threshold is
determined by the power class and the
relevant regulations.
For devices in USA/Canada (with UL certi-
fication), the device can be reconnected a
maximum of 4 times within 24h. F78
therefore stops once the 5th fault is trig-
gered within 24h.
Insulation resistance of the system is cal-
culated before connection. More infor-
mation in Status 19.
Not possible to calculate the insulation
resistance.
Protection shutdown due to an exces-
sively high grid voltage It is the live value
which is decisive for the shutdown. As
such, a single peak value is enough to
cause a shutdown.
See explanation in Status 81
Remedy
This is a normative requirement.
That this is a normal safety function of
the device due to the grid voltage being
too low.
Is the fan jammed? => Service the fan ac-
cording to chapter 11.
For trained electricians: Are plugs con-
nected correctly? Perform check.
See remedy in Status 70
See remedy in Status 70
Device was shutdown in PV system after
event. Contact Service.
See remedy in Status 8
If the fault occurs in the event of precipi-
tation, or high air humidity, this indicates
an increased discharge current => check
location in the system. Otherwise, con-
tact Service.
Normal device behavior
In case of continuous persistence in this
status, contact Service.
Solar installer to check the PV module in-
stallation.
=> If the message persists, contact Ser-
vice.
Does the message appear frequently? =>
The solar installer must check the installa-
tion and contact Service, if applicable.
See remedy in Status 81
