A4 Processor Board Assembly Troubleshooting
The A4 Processor board assembly is serviced as an assembly only; no
component level repair is supported.
Boot-Up or Initialization Problems
Typical failures of the A4 Processor board assembly will cause the instrument
to not boot-up or initialize properly. These types of failures can also be caused
by a variety of other assemblies as well. In order to determine whether a
problem such as this is being caused by a defective A4 Processor board
assembly, first see the PXA Instrument Boot Up Process on page 53 to
eliminate other possibilities.
Remote Monitor Troubleshooting
When an external monitor is connected to the analyzer, the remote monitor
should automatically begin working.
If the remote monitor does not function, perform the following:
1. Turn off the analyzer.
2. Assure the external monitor has power and that the VGA cable is
3. Turn on the analyzer and wait for it to fully boot-up.
4. Connect a mouse to the analyzer, and either click on the desktop, or on
