- Page 3 4.0 Hours Introduction This installation note explains how to install the hardware and licenses to add the MultiTouch user interface to N9030A PXA signal analyzers. This installation note supports two kits: N9030AK-MTU - MultiTouch User Interface Upgrade N9030AK-MTP - MultiTouch User Interface Upgrade with PC6 CPU The N9030AK-MTU should only be installed on N9030As that already have the PC6 CPU.

If the instrument software was not updated, continue with the procedure below.

After the PC6 assembly is installed and the calibration data from the previously installed processor assembly has been restored, another backup should be performed, this time to the SD card.

Locate the Option Upgrade Entitlement Certificate (5964-5178) from the kit. 2. Redeem the Option Upgrade Entitlement Certificate by following the instructions on the Certificate.

Carefully install the front panel assembly making sure that the ribbon cables are not pinched.
