Performing an Inventory
The Inventory Tapes command records the bar code labels of the
cartridges in the tape drives, fixed storage bins, load pack bins, and the
load port. Library elements containing unlabeled cartridges are
marked full with no label.
To perform an inventory, press the Inventory Tapes button on the
Operator screen. The GUI displays a "Command In Progress" screen.
The inventory process continues until all storage elements have been
checked. To cancel the inventory process, press the Abort button on the
screen.
