Problem
Excessive gap between top of front of
draper and cutterbar
Symptom: Reel Carries Over Odd Plants in Same Location
Reel steel fingers bent and hook

Finger pitch not aggressive enough
Symptom: Reel Wraps Up with Crop

TROUBLESHOOTING
Solution
Raise header fully at each end of field
or as required and shift decks back
and forth to help clean out cutterbar
Straighten steel fingers
Raise reel
Adjust reel fore and aft location to
move fingers out of the ground
Adjust reel fore and aft location to
move fingers out of the ground
Cut at angle to ridges or crop rows to
allow knife and guards to clean out
better
Cut at 90° angle to undulations,
provided knife floats across without
digging in
Increase draper speed
Increase finger aggressiveness (cam
position)
Raise reel
Add reel endshields
