3.) Disconnect the GND ground-cable from the back of the rear cover plate.
4.) Connect all Peripherals.
For connection schemes of Peripherals refer to Chapter 20 in the Basic User Manual of Voluson® 730.
5.) Connect the GND ground-cable at the rear cover plate.
6.) Mount rear cover plate.

Verify Customer Order

Compare items received by the customer to that which is listed on the delivery order. Report any items
that are missing, back ordered or damaged.

System Voltage Settings

Verify that the scanner is set to the correct voltage.
The Voltage settings for the Voluson® 730 Scanner is found on a metal plate, on the rear of the system.
CONNECTING A Voluson® 730 SCANNER TO THE WRONG VOLTAGE LEVEL WILL
WARNING

MOST LIKELY DESTROY THE SCANNER.

EMI Protection

This unit has been designed to minimize the effects of Electo-Magnetic Interference (EMI). Many of the
covers, shields, and screws are provided primarily to protect the system from image artifacts caused by
this interference. For this reason, it is imperative that all covers and hardware are installed and secured
before the unit is put into operation.
