Overview

The -V-series Safety Module is an Option Module that is connected to a -V-series SERVOPACK. By using
the Hard Wire BaseBlock function of the SERVOPACK, the following four safety functions, which are
defined in functional safety standards, can be achieved.
Safe BaseBlock Function
(SBB function)
Safe BaseBlock with Delay Function
(SBB-D function)
Safe Position Monitor with Delay Function
(SPM-D function)
Safely Limited Speed with Delay Function
(SLS-D function)

Function Remarks
This is a safety function that is equivalent to the Safe Torque Off
function defined in IEC 61800-5-2.
This is a safety function that is equivalent to the Safe Stop 1 func-
tion defined in IEC 61800-5-2.
This is a safety function that is equivalent to the Safe Stop 2 func-
tion defined in IEC 61800-5-2.
This is a safety function that is equivalent to the Safely-Limited
Speed function defined in IEC 61800-5-2.
