Pc12 and Pc62, and also
those of Pc22 and Pc62.
Check the set values of
Pc12 and Pc14, and also
those of Pc22 and Pc24.
Check the model of the
motor that is being used
and also the set value of
Pn212.
Check the set values of
Pc62, Pc63, and Pn281.
Make sure that the safety
function jumper connec-
tor is not connected to
CN8 of the SERVO-
PACK.

Corrective Action
When the safety func-
tions are used:
• Remove the external
encoder.
• Set Pn002.3 (External
Encoder Usage) to 0,
and then execute
Fn042 (Safety-related
Servo Parameter
Updating).
When an external
encoder is used:
Set digit 1 and digit 2
of Pc00 (Safety
Function Selection
Switch) to 0.
Set the appropriate val-
ues.
Set the appropriate val-

• Execute Fn043 (Safety
Option Module Initial-
izing Parameter Set-
ting).
• Replace the Safety

PACK.
• Replace the Safety
Module.
