    QUICK START The configuration of the scanner can be done by reading the setup barcodes contained in this manual or via the ScanMaster software. This section describes the procedure of configuring the scanner by reading the setup barcodes and provides some examples for demonstration. The read redundancy (2~16 times; default is set to 10) allows changing the number of times to decode a UPC/EAN barcode before transmission. The more redundancy you select, the higher the reading security is, and thus, the slower the reading speed becomes.
