safe location. The Agilent Cold Probe is designed to sit
on a flat surface with no other support necessary (with
the heater knob assembly removed).
The Agilent Cold Probe may be removed from the magnet
during Cryogenic operation or while cold if the Removable
Agilent Cold Probe accessory has been purchased. The
Removable Agilent Cold Probe accessory is designed to route
dry gas through the Agilent Cold Probe's center tube while
the Agilent Cold Probe is out of the magnet, preventing
frosting.
Failure to use the removable accessory when removing the Agilent
Cold Probe from the magnet while cold may damage the probe.
The transfer arm and vacuum line attachment to the Agilent Cold
Probe will make it difficult to remove from the magnet. To prevent
accidental damage, take appropriate precautions, including the
assistance of another person. If in doubt, first allow the CryoBay to
return to Idle status and disconnect the Agilent Cold Probe from the
CryoBay.
Remove any sample.
