Fault Code
100: Catastrophic Vacuum Failure
101: No Mass Flow
102: Single Phase Power Loss
.
103: UPS on Battery
Cryogenic Systems Operation
Actions and Corrections
Cause:
Significant loss of vacuum
Action:
Safe
Check:
Vacuum connection to Agilent Cold Probe
Is probe center tube broken?
Cause:
Mass flow < 10 SLPM
Action:
Cooling -> Warming, Operating->warning
Check:
Pneumatic gas supply to CryoBay is at 80 - 100 psi (5.5 - 7.5 bar,
552 - 689 kPa). See
page 101.
Compressor is operating, cooling
All Aeroquip fittings on compressor helium lines are tight
Cooling ->warming, warn user
Cause:
Continued loss of single phase power to CryoBay
Action:
If Vacuum Pumping > Idle
When in Operating, the system waits 30 minutes after power failure and
goes to Warming.
When in Warming or Cooling, the system ignores the power outage and
runs as long as it can on battery power. When the system runs out of
battery power, the system goes into Safe.
See
"Single-Phase Power Failure"
Check:
CryoBay/UPS power cable is connected
Stability and voltage of single phase power source are correct. See
Cryogenic System Site Requirements, p/n 91-002698-00A.
Cause:
Loss of single phase power to CryoBay
Action:
Warning UPS running on battery power
If Vacuum Pumping > Idle
