"Error Messages"
The pneumatic gas controls all of the pneumatic valves,
including all of the vacuum valves and the helium flow
valves. The errors that occur depend on the system's state.
The vacuum gauge or ion pump will display an increasing
pressure. The error code seen will depend on the state the
cryogenic system is in at that time.
The probe vacuum valve pop- up indicator should be up
during Cooling, Operating, or Warming. If it is not, there
may be a problem with the pneumatic gas or pneumatic gas
connection to the probe.
The purge in and purge out valves will not open. Detach
Probe Failed window or Error Code 124: Purging Timeout
will occur.
The compressor valves will be closed. The Agilent Cold Probe
will cease to be cooled. Assorted cooling faults may occur.
Failure of the VT gas can cause the center tube region of the
Agilent Cold Probe to ice up, potentially causing damage to
samples or the Agilent Cold Probe.
Replace temperature controller gas supply with an
alternative supply of dry gas such as N
