Start - Initial state: Idle
State
CryoBay order of operations/conditions
•
Pump out CryoBay vacuum system until low vacuum.
•
Pump out CCC vacuum chamber until low vacuum.
•
Open probe valve (popup button will appear on probe valve).
•
Cooling
Pump out probe until low vacuum.
•
Purge helium and fill helium for cold loop (repeated 5 times,
fill to 215 psi (1.55 mPa)).
•
Turn on compressor.
•
Cool probe until probe reaches set-point temperature.
•
Operating
Temperature controller regulates probe internal
temperature.
•
Ion pump on.
•
Turbo pump off.
