Actions and Corrections
Check:
CryoBay/UPS power cable is connected
Stability and voltage of single phase power source are correct. See
Cryogenic System Site Requirements.
Cause:
Failure to regulate at set point
Action:
Stop NMR (VnmrJ only). Warning.
Check:
rf power is grossly too large, affecting temperature and control. Stop
NMR experiment and observe probe temperature.
CCC requires maintenance. Contact Agilent Service.
Cause:
The probe temperature is > 60 K.
Action:
Warming
Check:
All compressor cables are connected
Helium pressure is normal.
Correct pressures while at Idle (room temperature):
At compressor gauge: 215 - 220 psi (1.5 MPa)
Inlet / Exhaust pressure: 215 psi (1.55 MPa)
Pneumatic gas supply to CryoBay is at 80 - 100 psi (5.5 - 7.5 bar,
552 - 689 kPa). See
page 101.
Cause:
Poor vacuum while in the Operating state
Action:
Warming
Check:
Vacuum connection to Agilent Cold Probe
Cause:
Poor vacuum while in the Operating state
Action:
Warning
Check:
Vacuum connection to Agilent Cold Probe
For a possible build up of condensation inside probe. Warm system and
re-start. If the vacuum connection is known to be good, and the problem
still exists, the Ion Pump may need maintenance. Contact Agilent
Service.
Operation may continue. However, NMR-probe RF power handling may
degrade.
