Retightening swagelok connectors

Cryogenic Systems Operation
Do not disassemble the Swagelok.
Insert the tube with the ferrule attached into the fitting

body, as seen in
2 Seat the tube and ferrule into the fitting body.
Finger- tighten the nut until it is in the original position.

The resistance will increase when the nut is at its
original position.
4 Tighten the nut slightly from the position of resistance.
Insert tubing with the ferrule
until it seats
Body nut
Finger-tighten the Swagelok
until resistance increases
then tighten slightly with a wrench
