Swagelok and Aeroquip Fittings
Swagelok connector installation

Do not disassemble the Swagelok fitting.
Trim both ends of the copper tubing using a tube cutter.

Do not use a file, saw, or clipper. Both ends of the
copper tubing must be round and not crimped.
Insert the tubing into the Swagelok, see

seat the tubing against the shoulder of the fitting.
Tighten the nut by hand until the tube will not rotate

freely in the fitting. If the tube cannot be rotated, tighten
the nut finger- tight, and then use a wrench to tighten the
nut an additional 1/8 of a turn.
Scribe a line on the nut at the 6 o'clock position.

Hold the body nut with a wrench and, with another

wrench, tighten the nut 1 1/4 turns.
Insert tube into Swagelok and
tighten the nut finger-tight
