Actions and Corrections
Check:
Probe temperature control cable connection
The temperature controller can cut its PID control of the probe if a fault
is detected (such as, probe cable disconnected). Automatic re-send of
the command by the CryoBay computer re-establishes PID control at five
minutes.
Cause:
Heater power < 1% for five minutes
Action:
Stop NMR (VnmrJ version only). Warning: Heat load on probe exceeded,
temperature regulation not stable.
Check:
rf power may be affecting cooling capacity and control. The RF power is
too great.
CCC may require maintenance. Contact Agilent Service.
Cause:
Heater > 95%
Action:
Five minute warning. Stop NMR.
Check:
Contact Agilent Service.
Cause:
Probe temperature reading < 2K below set point and Heater Power = 0
Action:
Warning
Check:
Contact Agilent Service.
Cause:
CCC 1 < 20 K or > 320 K
Action:
Warning, CCC warmup disabled.
Check:
Contact Agilent Service.
Cause:
CCC 2 < 5 K or > 320 K or absent
Action:
Warning, CCC warmup disabled.
Check:
Contact Agilent Service.
Cause:
Compressor temperature alarm
Action: Vacuum Pumping -> Idle
All other states - Warning. Usually, other faults will occur (such as, 105
