The best possible degree of interference suppression for the device is adhered to by
using the default value and taking the wiring directives into consideration.
Raising the pulse frequency leads to a reduction of the possible output current,
depending on the time (I
reached, the pulse frequency is gradually lowered to the default value. If the VFD
temperature drops by a sufficient amount, the pulse frequency is increased to the
original value.
Setting 16.1: The automatic adaptation of the pulse frequency is activated with this
setting. When doing this, the variable frequency drive permanently determines the
maximum possible pulse frequency taking different influential factors into
consideration such as the heat sink temperature or an overcurrent warning.
In case of overload of the variable frequency drive, the pulse frequency is
automatically reduced depending on the actual overload level to avoid overcurrent
shutdown (see also P537).
With use of a sinus filter, a constant pulse frequency is required at any time as
otherwise "Module error" (E4.0) shutdowns may be triggered.
The following settings are used to select the required, constant pulse frequencies.
Setting 16.2: 6 kHz
Setting 16.3: 8 kHz
Please note: With these settings, short circuits at the output which occur before
enabling may possibly not be detected correctly.
