MSTP Instance Configuration

Press T (command) on the Multiple Spanning Tree Configuration menu, and then
you can see "MSTP Instance Configuration" as Figure 4-20. You can configure
the instance of a spanning tree on this screen.

Screen Description
Instance
Displays the MST instance ID.
VLANs Mapped
Displays the VLAN ID associated with MST instance.
The following describes commands to be used on this screen.
N
Displays the next page.
Press N (command) to display the next page.
P
Displays the previous page.
Press P (command) to display the previous page.
A
Add a VLAN ID to associate with the MST instance.
1. Press A (command), and then the appearance of the command prompt becomes "Enter
MSTP instance ID>". Enter the instance ID of target MST.
2. As the appearance of the command prompt becomes "Enter VLAN ID>", enter the
VLAN ID to associate.
V
Deactivate (or deselect) the association between MST instance and VLAN ID.
1. Press V (command), and then the appearance of the command prompt becomes "Enter
MSTP instance ID>", enter the target MST instance ID.
2. As the appearance of the command prompt becomes "Enter VLAN ID>", enter the VLAN
ID to deactivate the association.
