Setting the Connect Rate

This option enables you to set up the Remote module's connect rate. By default, it attempts to connect at 64
kbps. This is the maximum supported rate.
1.
From the Go Online menu, press NEXT to advance to the Set ISDN Parameters menu.
2.
From the Set ISDN Parameters menu, press OK and NEXT to advance to the Set Connect Rate
menu.
3.
From the Set Connect Rate menu press OK.
4.
Press NEXT to advance through the connect rate options. The options are Auto and 56K.
5.
Press OK to accept the connect rate displayed and return to the Set Connect Rate menu.

Save Changes

The Save Changes prompt will only appear if you made changes to ISDN parameters. Remember to power-
down and power-up if you entered TEI numbers.
1.
After all of the changes have been made to the ISDN parameters, press PRV until Save Changes
appears.
2.
Press OK to save or press NEXT to discard.

Setting Dial Numbers

The Dial Numbers are the phone numbers that will be used for the Remote module to call the Office module,
the Office module to use to call the Remote module, and any applicable numbers for data applications. The
minimum requirements for voice communications are the Office Number and Remote Number.
The Setting Dial Numbers menu has the following sub-menu:
Set Office Number
Set Remote Phone Number
Set Data Number (For Ethernet Data Type only)
Setting the Office Phone Number
The Office Phone Number is the phone number the Remote Module will dial to connect with the Office
Module. This should be DN1/MSN1 of the Office Module. When entering the Office number and a previ-
ously stored Office number appears on the display, enter the new number over it. If no number was stored,
the default value will be displayed (5551000).
Office phone numbers cannot exceed 31 digits and should begin with 1 and the area code if required.
1.
From the Go Online menu, press NEXT until the Set Dial Numbers menu appears.
2.
Press OK to advance to the Set Office Phone Number menu.
3.
Press OK.
4.
Enter the number and press Drop/Redial to accept it and return to the Set Office Phone Number menu.
