Configuring Voice Menu
From the Main menu select Configure Voice to access the voice parameters. For the Office Module there is
only one option in this menu.
PBX Companding
PBX companding sets the companding mode used by the Office Module to encode and decode voice data it
sends and receives from the PBX respectively.
Note: Default settings are applicable for most installations. Setting this option to the wrong value for the
PBX you are using will severely degrade the voice quality.
To change companding:
1.
Select PBX Companding. Selecting this option will toggle between µ-Law and A-Law.
Show Diagnostics
This menu displays usage/error statistics. Refer to the troubleshooting section of this document for their
meanings. You can display the near end and far end Diagnostic error counts:
1.
Highlight Show Diagnostics.
2.
Press Enter. All system settings will be displayed.
