Alternatively, on the remote side, it is possible to directly connect a PC's Ethernet LAN card directly to the
Ethernet port on the EXTender. In this case, you must use an Ethernet crossover cable (with the pin-outs
shown in the table below.

Configuration Parameters
If you are using Ethernet Data, you may need to configure the following types of parameters:

Data Phone Number
•
Point-To-Point Protocol (PPP)
•
Bridging
•
DN1/MSN1 and DN2/MSN2.
The following Remote Module Ethernet parameters are optional:
•
Point-To-Point Protocol – Data-on-demand
Note: you must also program DN/MSN1 and DN2/MSN2 in the ISDN menu for the Ethernet to work cor-
rectly.
