Press OK to accept the displayed option and return to the Set Send Auth menu.
Setting Send User Name
The Remote Send User Name specifies the user name that will be sent to the Office system if authentication
is requested. This means the Remote Send User Name must match the Office Receive User Name.
•
The User Name may be up to 15 characters in length. Refer to Entering User Name/Password from
the Telephone to configure.
•
For security reasons, once the User Name is entered, it will not be displayed on the telephone dis-
play.
•
The User Name will be displayed on the ETI menu.
•
By default, no User Name is used.

From the Set DOD Mode menu, press NEXT until you advance to the Set Send User Name menu.
2.
Press OK to access this menu.
3.
If you want to enter a new User Name, follow the guidelines described in Entering User Names and
Passwords from the Telephone.
4.
After your entry is complete, press Enter. You will return to the Set Send User Name menu.
Setting Send Password
The Remote Send Password is used to specify the password that will be sent to the Office system if authen-
tication is requested. This means the Remote Send Password must match the Office Receive Password.
•
The password may be up to 15 characters in length. Refer to Entering User Name/Password from
the Telephone to configure.
•
For security reasons, once the password is entered, it will not be displayed on the phone display.
•
From the ETI and for the same reasons, asterisks (*) will appear in place of the characters typed.
•
By default, no password is used.
