Configuring the Office Module

Once the main menu is displayed, the following configuration selections can be accessed:
Main Menu Item

Show Settings

Configure ISDN

Configure System
Configure Data
Configure Voice
Show Diagnostics
Show Settings
You can display the current module settings:
1.
Highlight Show Settings.
2.
Press Enter. All system settings will be displayed.
Configure ISDN
To connect the Office Module to the ISDN Network, the following ISDN Parameters may require configur-
ing:
The ISDN Network CO Type
The two SPID Numbers (U interface only)
The two Directory Numbers (DN) or Multiple Subscriber Numbers (MSN).
The TEI type.
The Connect Rate
From the Main Menu, select Configure ISDN to access the ISDN parameters. The Configure ISDN menu
appears. Note, that you must exit the ISDN menu and save the changes before they will take effect.

Function
Display the current configuration parameters of the module.
Configures the ISDN parameters.
Designed to configure Passwords and to perform software upgrades.
Set the data type, configure the PPP (point-to-point) protocol
between modules (Ethernet port only), configure bridging (Ethernet
port only), and allows you to adjust the COM port settings.
Configure voice parameters such as U Law/A Law companding.
Display the diagnostic error counts of the near and far end Extend-
ers.
