Programming from a Terminal

Introduction

The Office Module can ONLY be programmed using a terminal. The Remote Module can be programmed
via a terminal or by using the phone menus.
For basic Voice Extension, the following Office Module parameters require programming using a PC:
ISDN Parameters –SPID/DN (U interface only), TEI and Connect Rate.
Depending on your Configuration, the following Office Module parameters may require programming using
a PC:
Passwords
COM Port – Data Rate, Parity, Data Bits, Stop Bits.
PPP and Bridging Parameters – (for Ethernet data only)
The COM Port settings are for the RS232 data port that is used by all data types.

Configuration Requirements

The Office Module must be connected to a PC or terminal using an RS232 serial cable, which connects to
the RS232 port on the module. Your terminal application should be configured for VT100 emulation.
