Setting Send User Name
Change Send User Name is the user name that must be sent to the other system to authenticate the PPP con-
nection. By default, no user name is specified, but a name and password must be specified if Send Authenti-
cation is enabled.
Remote Module
Receive User Name
From the Configure PPP menu:
1.
Select Change Send User Name.
2.
Enter the new user name, up to 15 characters.
3.
Press Enter to accept the new user name.

Change Send Password is the password that must be sent to the other system to authenticate the PPP connec-
tion. By default no password has been specified.

Select Change Send Password.
2.
Enter the new password, up to 15 characters. Asterisks will appear on the screen for each character.
3.
Press Enter to accept the new password.
