Press OK to select the displayed option, or press NEXT to do nothing and return to the to Set COD
Mode menu.
Disabled COD keeps the connection to the PBX/Key system active until the Remote Module disconnects
from the Office Module. When COD is disabled, the remaining COD parameters (Call Timeout and Connect
Timeout) do not require programming. Select Disabled COD mode if you are charged a flat monthly rate for
your service and if you do not have long distance charges associated with calling the office site.
Enabled COD reactivates the line connection when a ring command from the PBX/Key System or an off-
hook command at the remote site causes the remote telephone to leave COD Waiting. It reestablishes the
connection between the Office and Remote Modules, thereby providing normal PBX/Key System operabil-
ity.
