Viewing Diagnostics
The Diagnostics Menu provides you with the ability to troubleshoot the system if required. When viewing
statistics, please write down the error codes, consult the tables in the Troubleshooting section, and contact
your system administrator.
This menu allows you access to the following sub-menus:
•
View Remote Stats
•
View Office Stats
•
Reset Stats
•
View Office Data Type
Viewing Remote Statistics
The View Remote Stats menu allows you to check for errors that occurred on the Remote Module.
1.
From the Go Online menu, press NEXT until the Diagnostics Menu is displayed.
2.
Press OK to advance to the View Remote Stats menu.
3.
Press OK to display any available messages.
4.
Press OK to return to the View Remote Stats menu.
Note: A power reset of the Remote Module will reset any statistics captured. This information is particularly
beneficial at times of fault locating.
Viewing Office Statistics
The View Office Stats menu allows you to check for errors that occurred on the Office Module.
1.
From the View Remote Stats menu, press NEXT to advance to the View Office Stats menu is dis-
played.
2.
Press OK to display any available messages.
3.
Press OK to return to the View Office Stats menu.
Resetting Statistics
This option enables you to clear the Remote and Office statistics. Use this option to insure that any former
problems have been fixed.
1.
From the Viewing Office Stats menu, press NEXT. The Reset Stats menu appears.
2.
Press OK to reset the Remote and Office statistics. The system responds and returns you to the Reset
Stats menu.
3.
Press NEXT to advance to the View Office Data Type menu.
Viewing the Office Data Type
This option allows you to view the data type that the Office module has been set to transmit and receive. The
possible data types are: Serial, Dial-up, and Ethernet.
1.
From the Reset Stats menu, press NEXT. The View Office Data Type menu appears.
