Dial-up Data Type Installation Topologies

In this mode, the Remote Module provides an AT command set implementation to allow the second B chan-
nel to act as an ISDN Terminal Adapter (TA). This mode only supports PPP connections between the remote
and office sites. It is useful for Windows 9x/NT Dial-up networking or other applications that establish PPP
communications using the AT command set.

Remote Module Connection

The Remote PC must have Windows 9x/NT Dial-up Networking.
Connect one end of a serial cable into the port labeled RS232 on the back of the Remote Module, and con-
nect the other end of the cable into the PC's Dial-up Networking COM port.

Office Module Connection

The Office Module's COM port should have been connected to the COM port of a RAS if you are accessing
the corporate LAN (Dial-up Data Configuration 1).
