Configuring Passwords Online

Setting and changing passwords stored in the Office Module can be done through the Remote Module while
online with the Office Module (by accessing the Disconnect Menu).

Software Upgrades

All EXTender 3000, units can be software upgraded. Selecting this menu item prepares the module for a
Serial port Software Upgrade. For details, see the Software Upgrading section later in this manual. This
menu option is not required for initial configuration, but will be used later to upgrade your module, if
required.

Forced Upgrade

When this option is enabled the remote user will automatically be prompted to upgrade their remote unit on
the next login if the software in the office unit differs from that in the remote. No automatic prompt will be
displayed on the remote phone when this option is disabled.
