Adjusting the Build Tray Height

Fabrics have different thicknesses and different tensions when stretched
across the build tray. On J850 3DFashion printers, before every print job, you
need to adjust the height of the tray to ensure the correct distance between the
fabric and the roller when printing begins. If the tray height is not adjusted, it
can adversely affect the pattern printed on the fabric.
To adjust the tray height:
1. Prepare two transparency sheets (supplied in the Start-Up Kit).
2. Start the Cleaning wizard from the Options menu.
3. After completing the Cleaning wizard, place the fabric on the build tray.
4. From the Options menu, select Motors Control.
5. Select the Enable check box.

page 4-46.
Make sure that the roller is clean, so that it does not stain the textile during
printing.
