Error and Warning Messages

The Status indicator remains off if a problem with the scanning device
communication has occurred. The AXIS 7000/FX message display may
additionally provide error status information.
The Network indicator flashes when there is network traffic. If it
remains off and you know there is network activity, check the network
connection.
This table lists the error and warning messages that might appear on
the AXIS 7000/FX message display:

Scanner lamp failure
Scanner fuse blown
Scanner compression unit
failure
Scanner hardware failure
Scanner firmware failure
SCSI parameter length
illegal
Invalid SCSI command
Invalid field in SCSI CDB
Description
The lamp in the connected scanning device is blown.
Refer to your suppliers user documentation for in-
structions.
A fuse in the connected scanning device is blown. Re-
fer to your suppliers user documentation for instruc-
tions.
The image compression unit in the scanning device did
not work properly. Contact your equipment supplier.
The scanning device reports a hardware failure. Con-
tact your equipment supplier.
The scanning device reports a software failure. Con-
tact your supplier.
The length of the SCSI command is illegal. Contact
your AXIS 7000/FX dealer.
The scanning device does not support the given SCSI
command. Contact your AXIS 7000/FX dealer.
The SCSI command includes an invalid field. Contact
your AXIS 7000/FX dealer.
