AXIS 7000/FX User's Manual

Viewing Image Files

One single page or a stack of paper in the sheet feeder:
a. Press Send
one step.
Several separate pages or stacks of paper:
a. Press Add
b. Insert the next page or stack and press Add
procedure until all your pages are scanned.
c. Press Send
During the scanning this message appears on the display:
Scanning #1
please wait

image is completed, the AXIS 7000/FX is released for other users to
access.
Notes:
• By scanning multiple pages, you can accumulate several pages into
one image file. See "Multipage Image Files" on page 82.
• You must press the Add button or the Send button on the control
panel within 5 minutes. Otherwise, the operation will be executed
automatically.
• The Reserve Scanner function is not available when Authentication is
enabled.
The AXIS 7000/FX generates standard TIFF, JPEG and PDF formats
that are supported by most image-related applications; and PCL
format, that is supported by most printers.
Although the AXIS 7000/FX does not rely on any product-specific
software installed on each client, tools for viewing and manipulating
the images are required.
