Physical Description
This section provides a physical description of the AXIS 7000/FX and
explains the purpose and function of the unit connectors, indicators
and user interface.

SCSI-2 connector
Power supply
Push Button
The Push button can be used for restoring the AXIS 7000/FX
parameters to the factory default settings. See "Restoring Factory
Default Settings" on page 95.
SCSI Connector
A SCSI-2 connector for connection to the scanning device.
Network Connector
The AXIS 7000/FX is designed for 10 Mbps Ethernet and 100 Mbps
Fast Ethernet networks (10baseT and 100baseTX) and connects to the
network via an RJ-45 connector, via twisted pair category 5 cable.
Auto-sensing allows the AXIS 7000/FX to vary the speed of data
communication from 10 Mbps to 100 Mbps according to the local
network segment.
Keyboard Connector
A Mini-DIN connector for connection of a standard PC compatible
keyboard.
Power Supply
The AXIS 7000/FX can use either the AXIS PS-C or AXIS PS-E power
supply.
