Configuring the AXIS 7000/FX
Instructions
This is the name that will appear in
the profile list. Specify a descrip-
tive name for the profile.
Select the paper size from the
drop-down dialog box.
Note: <Default-xx> is the default
paper size that is specified on the
Profile Defaults page within the
Administration pages.
Click the appropriate radio button
to specify whether the digital
copier/scanner should scan the
document on both sides of the pa-
per.
Note: This feature is only available
for digital copiers/scanners that
support duplex scanning.
Click the appropriate radio button
to specify your chosen orientation.
Click the appropriate radio button
to select whether multipage docu-
ments should be saved in one mul-
tipage image file or separated into
one image file per page.
Note: Not all TIFF viewers support
multipage image files.
Specify the resolution to be used
for scanning for X and Y respec-
tively, in dots per inch (DPI).
Note: Higher-resolution settings
produce higher-quality scanning.
However, your documents might
take longer to scan. The resolutions
used when scanning depend on
your scanner's capabilities.
