Enter the level of intensity as a
percentage ratio
Enter the level of contrast as a
percentage ratio.
Note: The contrast is the tonal gra-
dation between the highlights,
mid-tones and shadows in an im-
age.
Select data type depending on the
material you are scanning and the
imaging application you intend to
use.
Choose your combination of image
format and compression from the
methods displayed in the drop-
down dialog.
Note: The format compression
choices within the drop down list
will vary dependent upon the se-
lected Data Type. See "Guidelines
for Format and Compression" on
page 70 for further information on
each of the available techniques.
