FUNCTIONS
This chapter describes the details of the functions available in the I/O module, and the setting procedures for those functions.
For details on remote I/O signals and remote registers, refer to the following.

Input Response Time Setting Function

Prevents an incorrect input due to noise by setting the response time required for the module to recognize an actual input as
the X signal.
Setting procedure
Set the input response time using function setting switch 2 to function setting switch 4 of the I/O module.

*1 This is a value set to the I/O module (except for waterproof module) as a factory default.
*2 This is a value set to the I/O module (waterproof module) as a factory default.
The input response time setting is determined by the statuses of function setting switch 2 to function setting switch 4 at power-
on.
If the setting of function setting switch 2 to function setting switch 4 is changed while the I/O module is powered on, one of the
errors from Function setting switch 2 changed error (error code: 0202H) to Function setting switch 4 changed error (error
code: 0204H) occurs, and the changed setting of the input response time is not applied.
The setting status of the input response time can be checked by Input response setting status (RWr2.b0 to RWr2.b2). For
details, refer to the following.

Precautions
Noise may be taken in as an input depending on the input response time setting.
The pulse width which is taken in as an input varies depending on the input response time.
To set the input response time, consider fully the operating environment.
The following table shows the minimum values of the pulse widths which may be taken in as an input. The pulse widths lower
than the values shown below can be filtered as noise.

can be filtered as noise)
