The device and accessories may not be sterilized.
1. Open the covering cap.
2. Remove the probe holder.

2. Moisten a cotton bud with disinfectant (active ingredi-
ent: 70 % isopropanol)
3. Wipe over the inner surfaces of the probe holder
4. Allow to air-dry for approx. 30 minutes
1. Discard probe cover and dispose of it
2. Moisten a soft cloth with disinfectant (active ingredient:
70 % isopropanol)
3. Wipe over in-ear thermometer and cable
4. Wipe over probe tip, ensuring that all foreign particles
are removed.
5. Wipe probe tip dry with lint-free cloth (e.g. spectacles
cleaning cloth)
6. Allow to air-dry for approx. 30 minutes

ent: quaternary ammonium compounds)
3. Wipe over surfaces
4. Allow to air-dry for approx. 30 minutes
WARNING!
Patient hazard
The color of the probe holder indicates whether a device is intended
for oral/axillary or rectal temperature measurement. This distinction
can no longer be made once the probe holder has been removed.
Confusing the probe holders can lead to cross-contamination.
► Ensure that the probe holder is fitted back in the device from which
it was removed following a hygiene treatment.
