Patient hazard, incorrect measurement
A pulse rate determined on the basis of blood pressure or oxygen sat-
uration is susceptible to artifacts.
► To obtain an exact value, determine pulse rate by means of ECG or
palpation.
Depending on device configuration, pulse rate is determined on the basis of
blood pressure or oxygen saturation.
Pulse rate is displayed until you stop the measurement procedure
