1. GETTING STARTED
To make the most of the Equipment functions, proper environmental conditions and
correct handling are required. Do not install the Equipment in the following places.
Otherwise, the life of the Equipment may be shortened or failures may be caused.
Places exposed to the direct sunlight, e.g., near a window
Places where temperature and humidity extremely change, e.g., near an airconditioner
Near a device or instrument generating electrical noise, e.g., motor or generator
Near a device or instrument generating a strong magnetic field, e.g., a magnet
Dusty places
Places with vibration
Places where there is corrosive gas
Places where there is vibration due to sound pressure, e.g., near a device or instrument
generating beeps or alarm tones
< NOTE >
Even when the power supply is disconnected, the Equipment has components such as timer
continuously running on battery backup. If the Equipment is stored in a place not
complying with the ambient temperature limits for operating, you may have to redo system
BIOS setup such as date and time before using the Equipment again. See Section 4.5,
"Setup of BIOS" when you redo system BIOS setup.
